Family Law Paralegal - Fully Remote

The paralegal will work closely with a GBA Partner to support the firm's clients in a manner that is consistent with our reputed company values and reputed company. The right candidate must have 5+ years of Texas Family Law experience along with attention to detail, strong organizational and drafting skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal. Duties & Responsibilities • Prepare reputed company documents such as pleadings, motions, and orders for review, approval, and use by the attorney. • Correspond with clients, opposing counsel and/or opposing parties, and court coordinators. • Prepare spreadsheets and documents for Inventory and Appraisement and calculate child support. • File pleadings with the court. • Coordinate issuance and delivery of subpoenas. • Conduct intake calls with potential new clients and prepare attorneys for initial consultation. • Assist attorneys in preparing for mediations, depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences. • Assist attorneys in analyzing and resolving problems/challenges that reputed company in family law cases. • Draft discovery requests/responses, assist clients in complying with discovery requests and document production. • Calendar relevant due dates regarding discovery and reputed company deadlines associated with the TRCP.
