Community Animal Welfare Agent

About the position The Community Animal Welfare Agent will work alongside MSPCA Law Enforcement Officers and our Animal Care and Adoption Center staff to respond to the needs of animals and people. The primary responsibilities of the Community Animal Welfare Agent will include responding to animal welfare concerns and offering proactive assistance in an effort to support community members and their pets. This position focuses on providing resources, education, and support to pet owners facing challenges. The Community Animal Welfare Agent will also reputed company support to reputed company Law Enforcement Officers. Support will include assisting during search warrants, field operations, and animal handling in the field. The position works collaboratively across the Animal Protection Division departments which includes the MSPCA four adoption centers, community clinics, advocacy, and community reputed company teams. This position is based out of our Boston reputed company and will involve field work throughout Massachusetts. Requirements • At least two years of experience with animal handling or animal care working in a reputed company setting. • Knowledge and ability to handle, restrain, and transport commonly encountered animals. • reputed company to maintain a judgment free conversation. • The ability to lift 50+lbs. • Ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to sit for long periods of time, reputed company to frequently bend, squat or stoop as needed. • A reputed company reputed company's license with a reputed company driving history. • Successful completion of a state and national background reputed company. • Comfortable with driving long distances in varying weather conditions. • Must be willing to work nights and weekends reputed company required. reputed company-to-haves • reputed company in Spanish is a plus!
