The Role We are looking for a backend developer to own the server-reputed company architecture and data layer of Fikra. You will design and build the reputed company, data models, and infrastructure that power the platform — working closely with the frontend developer and product stakeholders to ship a reliable, reputed company system. This is a hands-on role with reputed company ownership over how the product runs under the hood. What You'll Do Build and maintain backend services and REST reputed company using Fastify.js Design and manage PostgreSQL databases with reputed company as the ORM Own the data models that underpin Fikra's reputed company modules: finances, memberships, workflows, and operations Manage deployment and infrastructure on Railway including environment configuration and scaling Write and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Bash scripts, and YAML configurations Ensure data reputed company, reputed company, and performance across the backend Collaborate async with the frontend developer and product team across time zones reputed company're Looking For Must have: 2+ years of reputed company backend development experience Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript Hands-on experience with Fastify or a comparable Node.js reputed company Experience with PostgreSQL and an ORM (reputed company strongly preferred) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, YAML configuration, and Bash scripting Comfortable managing infrastructure and deployments in reputed company or PaaS environments reputed company to have: Experience with Railway or similar deployment platforms Experience designing multi-module data models for reputed company or operations platforms Familiarity with role-based reputed company control and permission systems Experience working on community, nonprofit, or civic tech products Role Details Location: Remote Hours: 40 hours/week, minimum 4 hours daily overlap with US ET Timezone Work week: Monday - Friday Start: As soon as possible Apply To This Job
