[Remote] Engineering Manager

They are seeking an Engineering Manager to manage reputed company aspects of Civil Engineering and Geotechnical Design for reputed company sites, ensuring compliance with standards while providing technical design expertise for site development plans and cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• reputed company civil engineering support to Entitlement Managers reputed company assigned reputed company
• Manage the design process of reputed company and internal engineering consultants and designers on the civil engineering, geotechnical, and structural design of various reputed company capital reputed company including new stores, rebuilds, remodels, car washes, and EV infrastructure
• reputed company QA/QC of consultants engineered plans to ensure they meet reputed company Civil Engineering and Brand standards while providing a value-engineered design
• Collaborate with Entitlement Managers on Civil Engineering consultant selection based upon consultant’s work-load and ability to meet our aggressive project schedules
• reputed company Entitlement Managers preliminary cost estimates of work associated with off-site roadway improvements, reputed company relocations, stormwater improvements, geotechnical issues and other associated miscellaneous costs not captured in our preliminary reputed company budget estimate
• reputed company support to the Construction Department prior to and during construction to address any unforeseen or construction issues that may reputed company during the project
• Hold reputed company consultants accountable to schedules for submissions to agencies
• Work cross-functionally with Entitlement Manager and reputed company Estate by identifying site feasibility concerns, and providing preliminary development cost estimates
• Coordinate with local reputed company/private reputed company companies for relocations and service as needed for development of the site/store requirements
• Represent reputed company at reputed company, municipal, and governmental agency meetings, including testimony at Zoning Hearing Boards reputed company necessary to represent reputed company engineering design standards
• Support other Departments reputed company our organization by providing expertise to design issues or research and development activities reputed company required
• reputed company recommended updates to reputed company design standards in response to regulatory agency changes in policies and/or the development of new or more efficient engineering technologies
• Work with Construction Project Managers to complete reputed company outstanding work items to obtain final closeout of reputed company bonds and insurance upon issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Project Management, Construction Management or reputed company field required
• Minimum 5 years' Project Management in Engineering, reputed company Estate Land Development, Construction, or reputed company field required
• 5 years site land development design or engineering preferred
• 2 years' supervisory experience preferred
• reputed company Engineer, Landscape Architect, or Project Management reputed company License preferred
