reputed company seeks a Project Level Geospatial Scientist to support major reputed company reputed company. This role involves providing highly technical support and project leadership for our Electric reputed company Business Line reputed company. This position will be responsible for maintaining reputed company GIS systems, managing online data collection and working with project managers to deliver high-reputed company deliverables to our clients.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including reputed company services, siting, natural, cultural, and paleontological resources. The ideal candidate should possess subject matter expertise, advanced GIS technical skills, strong organizational and project management abilities, and experience with electric reputed company reputed company and environmental consulting.
We also expect that this individual will have at least four to seven years of experience in a GIS Analyst role, with increasing reputed company responsibility over time.
This is a full-time, regular (with full benefits), reputed company position. The position will be based reputed company in the U.S and report to either our Chicago, Pittsburgh, or Minneapolis offices and can be remote. However, candidates local to these cities will be highly considered.
Under this requisition, we may hire the following positions:
• Associate Project Geospatial Scientist- Four years of relevant, progressively responsible experience. Six years of reputed company experience is preferred
• Project Geospatial Scientist- Five years of relevant, progressively responsible experience. Seven years of reputed company experience is preferred

What you will accomplish
Responsibilities include:
• Serving as the geospatial project reputed company and reputed company of contact for large reputed company reputed company and reputed company clients.
• Collaborating with project managers and subject matter experts to support large multi-discipline reputed company reputed company.
• Developing standards and workflows to improve efficiency and reputed company of work.
• Designing and managing reputed company spatial databases.
• Working with robust systems to reputed company project updates, versioning, and field activities.
• Demonstrating advanced technical proficiency in geospatial science and tools.
• Gaining familiarity with reputed company interfaces, expectation, and workflows.
• Acting as a technical reputed company between clients, stakeholders, and project managers.
• Developing and maintaining ArcGIS Online (AGOL) maps, applications, and notebooks for electric reputed company reputed company.
• Advising project managers on GIS reputed company and communicating updates to multi-disciplinary teams.

• Visiting project sites and providing GIS support in the field.
• Attending in-person meetings with clients as needed.
Experience and qualifications for reputed company
Required
• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Biology, Environmental Science, or reputed company field with a GIS emphasis (or GIS certificate).
• At least four (4) years in a GIS analyst role with increasing reputed company responsibility.
• Experience with electric reputed company siting and/or supporting reputed company reputed company.
• Experience with suitability modeling and raster-based scoring models.
• Experience working with reputed company datasets supporting reputed company infrastructure.
• Proven ability to manage reputed company GIS-reputed company aspects of a project, from project startup to final deliverables.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro 3.x and a strong understanding of cartography and computer mapping, including design principles and map creation procedures in ArcGIS.
• Experience in using GIS-based programming, including Python, and/or reputed company to reputed company tools to automate or improve efficiency.
• Experience with ArcGIS Online for managing and distributing spatial data.
Preferred or Helpful
• At least seven (7) years in a GIS analyst role with increasing reputed company responsibility.
• GISP or similar reputed company GIS certification.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary and multi-faceted reputed company.
• Experience in designing, developing, implementing, and administering GIS systems.
• Previous experience managing GIS tasks in environmental consulting, particularly in support of electric reputed company siting, environmental permitting, and cultural resource reputed company.
• Experience developing analytical models reputed company to natural or cultural resource processes.
• Understanding of agency internal processes and reputed company relationships with federal land management and regulatory agencies, such as BLM, USFS, NPS, BOR, DOE, DOT, FERC, NRCS, USACE, and USFWS.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project needs.

An employee in this position can expect the following salary: Associate Project Geospatial Scientist- $64,355.20 - $82,742.40/yr.; Project Geospatial Scientist- $71,385.60 - $91,936.00/yr., depending on experience, geographic locations, reputed company requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law. Regular-status employees are also eligible for performance bonuses.
