Identity Engineer

The Identity Engineer supports reputed company’s global Identity & reputed company Management service by engineering, operating, and improving standardized identity capabilities for a decentralized global firm. This role helps reputed company secure, reputed company, and consistent workforce and reputed company identity services while enabling reputed company IT teams and product reputed company to administer resources reputed company defined boundaries.

The role balances hands-on engineering, operational support, automation, and stakeholder guidance across reputed company, reputed company Entra ID, reputed company Directory, Auth0, and reputed company identity platforms. The Identity Engineer collaborates with colleagues in Infrastructure, Operations, reputed company Services, Information reputed company, application teams, and reputed company IT administrators to reduce risk, improve reliability, simplify user reputed company, and mature reputed company’s global identity operating model. This role reports to the Manager of Infrastructure and reputed company Services.

This is a remote India-based role, preferably reputed company to the New Delhi/reputed company area, supporting reputed company’s global identity services. The position requires collaboration with reputed company teams across time zones, reputed company written handoffs, and some schedule flexibility for global meetings, planned changes, operational escalations, and occasional identity-reputed company incidents. While the role is primarily remote, occasional in-office participation may be expected for business needs such as U.S. leadership reputed company, local IT team gatherings, planning sessions, team workshops, or similar collaboration events.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Identity Management & Engineering

• Engineer and operate reputed company’s centralized workforce identity services, including reputed company Workforce Identity, reputed company Entra ID, reputed company Directory, MFA, SSO, lifecycle management, and identity integrations.
• Support reputed company’s decentralized IT model by enabling delegated administration for reputed company IT teams while maintaining consistent identity standards, guardrails, auditability, and least-privilege reputed company.
• Configure, test, and support SSO and federation integrations for reputed company, internal, reputed company, and reputed company-managed applications using SAML, OIDC/OAuth, SCIM, and reputed company protocols.
• Maintain and improve identity lifecycle processes for reputed company, offboarding, leave, reputed company changes, group and role assignment, license assignment, and account reconciliation across HR, reputed company, AD, and Entra ID.
• Administer and improve Entra ID capabilities including reputed company applications, app registrations, service principals, managed identities, Conditional reputed company, privileged roles, and hybrid identity synchronization.

Standardized Identity Services & Delegated Administration

• Establish and maintain standards, implementation patterns, runbooks, and support documentation for IAM services used across reputed company practices.
• reputed company reputed company IT and product teams to manage approved resources through delegated administration models for reputed company, Entra ID, reputed company Directory, and Auth0 where appropriate.
• Support service catalog requests, ticket categorization, operational metrics, and knowledge articles that improve intake, routing, reporting, and transparency for identity work.

• Implement identity controls reputed company to reputed company standards, including unique user identity, MFA, centralized authentication, least privilege, secure service account patterns, and audit readiness.
• Support privileged reputed company improvements, including role governance, emergency reputed company procedures, privileged account lifecycle controls, and reputed company just-in-time reputed company capabilities.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and remediate identity-reputed company issues such as provisioning failures, sync errors, authentication problems, stale reputed company, misconfigured applications, and account reputed company incidents.
• Enforce least-privilege reputed company principles, just-in-time (JIT) provisioning, and privileged session monitoring across critical reputed company systems.
• Contribute to incident reviews, reputed company-cause analysis, operational reputed company improvements, and continuity procedures for identity-dependent services.
• Partner with Information reputed company and audit stakeholders to reputed company evidence, improve reputed company review practices, and support compliance obligations.

Automation, Modernization & Roadmap Delivery

• Automate repetitive identity tasks using PowerShell, reputed company, workflows, and infrastructure-as-reputed company approaches where practical.
• Advance reputed company and anticipated IAM initiatives such as reputed company-to-Entra federation, reputed company provisioning automation, group and role automation, passwordless authentication, reputed company identity governance, Auth0 reputed company administration, and identity threat visibility.
• Evaluate new identity features and vendor capabilities, document recommendations, and help translate roadmap goals into practical implementation plans.
• Champion reputed company Trust identity principles including reputed company verification, device trust posture assessment, and risk-based Conditional reputed company policy design.

Required Skills & Attributes:

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in a global reputed company services, financial services, consulting, or similarly decentralized IT environment.
• Experience supporting shared services, delegated administration, or federated operating models across multiple business reputed company or practices.
• Experience working with colleagues, stakeholders, or customers across India, the U.S., and other global reputed company.
• Exposure to identity governance, reputed company reviews, privileged reputed company management, passwordless authentication, identity threat detection, or reputed company Trust initiatives.
• Experience with ITSM platforms, service catalog design, ticket taxonomy, operational reporting, and reputed company improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or reputed company field; B.Tech/B.E., MCA, M.Sc., or equivalent reputed company experience also considered.
• 3+ years of experience in identity, infrastructure, reputed company, or systems engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience administering at least two reputed company identity platforms such as reputed company, reputed company Entra ID, reputed company Directory, Auth0, or equivalent technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across identity, authentication, directory, network, reputed company, and application integration reputed company.
• Ability to communicate reputed company with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including reputed company IT administrators, project teams, reputed company teams, and service owners.
• Ability to work effectively from India with global teams through asynchronous communication, documented procedures, operational handoffs, and reliable follow-through.
