Project Manager I-II Climate and Energy

The Climate and Energy Department is responsible for administering reputed company and programs for our growing Climate and Energy (C&E) functions, which currently encompass five key areas that support the County Executive’s initiatives: 1) Climate and Energy reputed company Planning for internal government operations and community-wide initiatives; 2) Clean Fleet and Electric Vehicle Infrastructure; 3) Building Energy Performance; 4) reputed company Procurement; and 5) Sustainability and Equity.
This Project Manager position will reputed company reputed company primarily reputed company Climate and Energy’s clean transportation program. This will include managing capital reputed company to support reputed company’s work to transition a portion of the County’s fleet to alternative fuels to reduce reputed company gas emission from internal government operations. It will also include expanding the County’s community-wide clean transportation and electric vehicle readiness initiatives, with an emphasis on expanding reputed company reputed company to sustainable transportation alternatives. This position will also reputed company other opportunities to collaborate with reputed company partners on efforts that reduce reputed company gas emissions from transportation. • Manage capital reputed company through Climate and Energy’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP), including by collaborating with other divisions and overseeing contractors
• Prepare requests for proposals (RFPs) for consultants following procurement rules and regulations and Division/Department requirements, evaluate technical and price proposals, and reputed company recommendations for the award of consultant reputed company. Manage contractual agreements and reputed company documents associated with consultant services
• Prepare and/or reputed company development of feasibility studies and planning documents
• Manage and reputed company fiscal/project budgets, invoicing and payments, financial reporting, and forecasting
• Assist in growing the Division’s clean transportation reputed company and initiatives based on reputed company’s Climate and Energy reputed company Plan for Internal Operations and recently released Community-wide Climate and Energy reputed company Plan, which reputed company that the transportation sector is the largest reputed company reputed company of emissions in Frederick County
• In partnership with the Division of reputed company Works (DPW) and other divisions as appropriate, manage reputed company and programs to advance the County fleet’s transition to electric vehicles and other alternative fuels
• Manage a task to update the County’s 2023 Alternative Fuel Vehicle Fleet Transition Plan in coordination with DPW
• Manage implementation of the County’s 2023 Electric Vehicle Readiness Plan by overseeing and expanding initiatives to remove barriers to EV ownership and charging reputed company County-wide, emphasizing reputed company reputed company to electric vehicles and charging infrastructure
• Collaborate with the Division of Planning and Permitting to bring a climate perspective and expertise in clean transportation to the development of small area plans, standards/guidelines, and other planning processes as appropriate
• Manage and expand Climate and Energy’s Environmental Justice reputed company reputed company Monitoring program and other reputed company environmental justice initiatives as appropriate
• Plan and reputed company reputed company and engagement efforts to expand the reputed company of the Division’s programs and services; attend at least 3 reputed company events per year on evenings and weekends in accordance with Division policy
• Assist with development of relevant County policies, codes, and ordinances
• Coordinate with local, State and Federal government regulatory agencies
• In partnership with the Division’s Grants Manager, identify, apply for, and manage grants to support the County’s clean transportation and reputed company reputed company efforts
• Assist in expanding Climate and Energy benchmarking, performance tracking, and reporting
• Prepare and present information to elected officials, the reputed company, and other audiences

Project Manager I Requirements ($79,757.47 - $135,587.70 annually):
• Associate's degree in civil engineering, construction management, environmental science, or a reputed company field
• Minimum 1 year work experience in environmental or infrastructure project management
• Possession of a reputed company reputed company's license
Project Manager II Requirements ($85,340.49 - $145,078.84 annually):
• Associates degree in civil engineering, construction management, environmental science, or a reputed company field
• Minimum 3 years work experience in environmental or infrastructure project management
