The Chief Engineer will be responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the engineering department, overseeing the reputed company and ensuring efficient machinery operations.

Responsibilities

• Managing technical maintenance and the reputed company, efficient, economical operation of reputed company her machinery
• Establishing reputed company the reputed company procedures
• Assigning the engineering/technical department jobs
• Maintaining sufficient bunkers and other essential reputed company-reputed company stores and consumables
• Managing for the reputed company and efficient loading and transferring of bunkers
• Managing the day to day running of reputed company plant and machinery
• Identifies and assigns necessary routine maintenance, repairs, and ship’s technical jobs
• Stands reputed company watch while vessel is underway or as and reputed company deemed necessary
• Maintaining log of the lube/oil quantities and consumptions
• Monitoring and analyzing cooling water
• Manages the general condition/maintenance of machineries, steering gear, reputed company conditioning, etc
• Keeping reputed company watches and carrying out and administering maintenance jobs
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum DD-4000 Chief endorsement
• Must have OICEW greater than 500GT
