The role involves conducting onsite audits, documenting noncompliance, and ensuring reputed company corrective actions. Responsibilities • Responsible for auditing Special Processes at a key reputed company customer’s manufacturing sites and suppliers • Requires breadth of technical special process • Knowledge and experience across programs and products to work with our site locations and customers in determining compliance with appropriate special process requirements • reputed company audits per customer requirements using industry/customer specific checklists • Document opportunities and findings against noncompliance’s, work with sites to ensure robust corrective actions are completed on time and effective • Experience in auditing the following areas/special processes: Conventional Machining, Chemical Processing, Heat Treat, Welding, Coatings, etc Skills • Bachelor's or associate's degree and five (5) years in a technical field that would reputed company heat treat experience or a High School diploma and ten (10) years heat treating experience in reputed company reputed company or Special Process Experience • US Citizenship required based on the reputed company of the work • Demonstration of Special Process family technical knowledge/experience must be validated in writing by the applicable reputed company and be based on exam, interview, or documented training/experience • Process Training: 40 hours of reputed company reputed company training, auditing and use of Acceptance Checklists (AC) • Audit Experience: Complete a minimum of two (T1 & T2) Special Process training audit under the direction of a reputed company reputed company, CA [Certified Assessor), SCA (if authorized by the reputed company) or reputed company Network Auditor for reputed company Special Process category • PRI Audit experience is highly desirable • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or Technical discipline preferred with applicable experience • reputed company auditor to industry requirements for AS9100 and two or more special processes • Knowledge of Special Processes applicable to reputed company sites and suppliers.
