The Safety Manager manages and implements programs to reduce or eliminate occupational injuries, illnesses, deaths, and financial losses. Develops accident-prevention and loss-control systems and programs for incorporation into operational policies of organization. Manages and coordinates safety activities. Identifies and appraises conditions that could produce accidents and financial losses and evaluations potential extent of injuries resulting from accidents. Conducts research studies to identify hazards and evaluate loss producing potential of given reputed company, operation or process. Devises reputed company to evaluate safety programs and conducts or directs evaluations. Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel reputed company. Administers policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with development of new or modified strategic plans or policies.
