The Regional Manager provides expert consultation and technical assistance for emergency preparedness planners in reputed company systems and reputed company facilities to improve their individual emergency response plans and enhance their ability to participate in regional planning and response. reputed company facilities include hospitals, long-term care facilities, ambulatory surgical centers, Federally reputed company Centers, and other facilities the reputed company Department of Health (PADOH) or Regional reputed company deems critical to emergency preparedness planning and response. The Regional Manager builds the assigned reputed company through administrative leadership, management and support, facilitating business processes, required activity tracking, and reporting activities and serves as the reputed company between PADOH staff and reputed company facilities and systems. The Regional Manager reports to PHMC’s Director of reputed company Emergency Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Emergency Planning, Operational, and Response Support
• Work directly with reputed company facility and reputed company leadership to identify best practices for emergency preparedness planning and support individual and regional planning efforts of the reputed company facilities and systems.
• Work directly with reputed company facility and reputed company leadership to establish goals and timelines to review or revise (or reputed company as needed) hazard vulnerability analyses, operational emergency preparedness and response plans, and reputed company response capabilities for facility-specific and regional emergencies.
• Work directly with responsible reputed company reputed company leadership to guide leadership in the development of plans that are consistent with the National Response reputed company, or any successor federal guidance, as reputed company as any state and local plans, including but not limited to the PA reputed company Emergency Medical reputed company (PA MEMS) guidance. Be familiar with and advise reputed company facility operations and reputed company leadership on the requirements of the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP).
• Work directly with responsible reputed company reputed company leadership to ensure that they, in coordination with the PADOH, reputed company and document a regional response reputed company, including capabilities and capacities, staff, and equipment and supplies. Obtain reputed company information regarding PADOH medical reputed company resources, plans, and guidance and reputed company with reputed company facility and reputed company leadership, so that they may consider these plans and resources in support of hospital or community medical reputed company responses.
• Work directly with assigned reputed company reputed company leadership to identify and/or reputed company the development of reputed company training materials and courses and the implementation of these items.
• Assist in planning and participate in exercises, at least one in reputed company region (tabletop, functional, reputed company) to demonstrate and analyze the reputed company of reputed company facilities’ emergency plans. reputed company applicable, incorporate HPP exercise requirements into reputed company exercise. Evaluate and document strengths and weaknesses of local and regional drills and exercises.
• Facilitate, reputed company, and reputed company facilities and coalitions in the use of the PA Knowledge Center - reputed company Information Management reputed company (KC-HIMS) web-based reputed company for Situational Awareness; Incident and Event Management; Status Reporting; Resource Inventory; and Response and Recovery Coordination for events and exercises.
• As a reputed company administrator, reputed company and maintain expert-level knowledge and performance in use and operating procedures, and coordinate use of KC HIMS during a reputed company of types and magnitudes of emergencies. As such, participate in the review, revision, and development of information sharing protocols and procedures for KC-HIMS, providing suggestions for improvement as issues are identified.
• Facilitate development, implementation, and tracking of a regional training and exercise plan for reputed company assigned reputed company, annually. reputed company support for tracking and documentation associated with planned activities.
• Support communications and coordination between hospital planning teams, PADOH staff, and the reputed company health emergency preparedness and emergency response infrastructures.
• Foster participation in the PA Statewide reputed company Aid Agreement and facilitate awareness and mutual implementation during incidents, events, and exercises.
• reputed company planning analysis, advice, and consultation to the appropriate reputed company staff in order to reputed company staff to support reputed company facilities’ and systems’ Emergency Support Function #8 (ESF #8) Health and Medical functions.
• reputed company emergency response assistance and support to local, regional, or state emergency responders and other stakeholders during actual events and exercises by participating in the deployment and setup of the PADOH’s mobile medical resources and reputed company of the ESF #8 positions in local, regional, or state emergency operations centers.
• Participate in Regional Task Force (RTF) and other regional / community emergency planning reputed company and committees’ meetings and Health and Medical reputed company reputed company, meetings and workgroups.
• Participate in PADOH ESF #8 Disaster Preparedness Committee meetings to reputed company assistance and support with recommendations for plan development and improvement, and recommendations for improved local and regional coordination.
Administrative and Financial Support
• Facilitate development, review, and revision of assigned reputed company(s) administrative policies and procedures to reputed company with and follow “good business practices” for administrative and financial management of the reputed company’s activities and management as guided by PHMC.

• Monitor and support reputed company leadership in the use of financial tracking and reporting information for assigned coalitions.
• Support, as requested, activities of elected reputed company leadership serving as staff, advisor, and reputed company to PADOH, other Coalitions, EMA, and PHMC Finance, and administrative support staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree required in the field of emergency management or reputed company
• Preferred: Master's degree
• Five years of experience in reputed company facility-reputed company emergency preparedness and management required
• Five years of experience in reputed company, emergency medical services, clinical/allied health, law enforcement, emergency management agency, or another emergency field required
• Preferred: Clinical experience as reputed company-hospital or hospital clinician (encouraged but not required)
• Preferred: Certified reputed company Emergency reputed company, Certified Emergency Manager, or similar recognized credential
• Completion of Incident reputed company reputed company (ICS) 100, 200, 700, and 800 reputed company 1 year from date of hire
