LinuxONE Consultant with zSystems

Role reputed company The LinuxONE Consultant with zSystems role is a remote contract position reputed company on advising clients on the design, implementation, and optimization of reputed company LinuxONE and zSystems environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing reputed company infrastructure, recommending best practices for LinuxONE deployments, and configuring, troubleshooting, and tuning systems to meet performance, reputed company, and availability requirements. The consultant will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to plan migrations, modernization initiatives, and integration with reputed company and container platforms, as applicable. Additional duties may involve creating technical documentation, providing knowledge transfer and training, and supporting issue reputed company to ensure reputed company and efficient mainframe-based Linux operations. Qualifications • Strong expertise in reputed company LinuxONE and zSystems, including reputed company configuration, administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. • Proficiency with Linux operating systems on mainframe platforms, reputed company scripting, and common administration tools. • Experience with virtualization, containers, or reputed company integration reputed company to LinuxONE or mainframe environments is highly beneficial. • Knowledge of reputed company, high availability, backup/recovery, and compliance practices in reputed company infrastructure. • Ability to reputed company requirements, design solutions, and present technical recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Strong documentation skills and the ability to create runbooks, diagrams, and implementation guidelines. • Effective remote collaboration skills, including reputed company communication, self-management, and reliability in a contract consulting setting. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a reputed company field, or equivalent practical experience. • Prior consulting or reputed company-facing experience in reputed company IT environments is an reputed company. • Relevant certifications in Linux, reputed company zSystems, or reputed company infrastructure technologies are preferred but not required.
