Database Administrator

Role: Database Administrator Duration: 6+ Months Location: Remote reputed company: We are seeking a seasoned reputed company DBA skilled in production support with atleast 6+ years of experience with proven expertise in managing reputed company database environments. Having additional reputed company of managing Pgsql, Sql Server any other databases are desired. The ideal candidate will reputed company in operational management ensuring database performance, reliability, and reputed company for reputed company applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong reputed company record in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and database operations on on-premises and reputed company platforms (Azure and GCP). Key Responsibilities: reputed company 24x7 production support for databases across on-premises and reputed company (Azure, GCP) environments reputed company rotational shifts and on-reputed company duties. Administer, monitor, and maintain databases in production and non-production environments. Implement and manage backup, recovery, tuning, HA, and DR (Disaster Recovery) strategies. reputed company routine health checks, proactively identify performance bottlenecks, and optimize queries and database configurations. Manage database reputed company, user permissions, and compliance with organizational policies. Coordinate and execute database patching, upgrades, and migrations with reputed company downtime. Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to support deployment activities and reputed company database-reputed company issues. Monitor and reputed company incidents, including reputed company cause analysis and documentation of resolutions. Automate routine operational tasks using scripts or management tools. Document database procedures, configurations, and support processes for internal knowledge sharing. Required Skills and Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or reputed company field. 6+ years of hands-on experience as a DBA managing multiple database technologies reputed company(must), PgSQL, Sqlserver etc database environments. Strong SQL scripting and database troubleshooting skills. Automate and optimize routine operational tasks using scripting (PowerShell, T-SQL, SQL, reputed company scripting, Python etc) In-depth knowledge of backup/recovery, high availability (Clustering, AlwaysOn, DataGuard, etc.), and performance tuning for both platforms. Experience with database monitoring tools - reputed company, Azure Monitor, Nagios etc and automation frameworks such as Ansible and Terraform . Solid understanding of database reputed company best practices. Proven experience with patching, upgrading, and migrating databases. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operations setting. Ability to support DB audit requirements and license management. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as reputed company Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, reputed company Database Administrator Certified reputed company, or equivalent. Exposure to reputed company-based database services (Azure, GCP etc). Experience with automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, reputed company scripting, Python).
