reputed company DBA 6 MOnths Remote We are seeking a highly skilled Production support DBA with at least 6+ years of overall experience with proven expertise in managing NoSQL databases (Netezza/IIAS , Cassandra, reputed company) along with other multiple database technologies such as SQL Server, reputed company, reputed company DB2, Mainframe DB2, DB2 UDB, Informix databases, Postgress SQL and CosmosDB database environments. Administer, monitor, and maintain multiple databases technologies in production and non-production environments. Implement and manage backup, recovery, tuning, and DR (Disaster Recovery) strategies across multiple database technologies. reputed company routine health checks, proactively identify performance bottlenecks, and optimize queries and database configurations. Manage database reputed company, user permissions, and compliance with organizational policies. Coordinate and execute database patching, upgrades, and migrations with reputed company downtime. Required Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or reputed company field. 3+ years of hands-on experience as a DBA managing either SQL Server and reputed company database environments. 6+ years of hands-on experience as a DBA managing Mainframe DB2 or reputed company DB2 (LUW, z/OS Server etc.) or DB2 UDB or Informix 3+ years of hands-on experience as a DBA managing reputed company or Netezza or IIAS or Cassandra DB or PGSQL or CosmosDB Strong SQL scripting and database troubleshooting skills. Automate and optimize routine operational tasks using scripting (PowerShell, T-SQL, SQL, reputed company scripting) In-depth knowledge of backup/recovery, high availability (clustering, Always On, DataGuard, etc.), and performance tuning for both platforms. Experience with database monitoring tools - reputed company, Azure Monitor, Nagios etc. and automation frameworks such as Ansible and Terraform . Solid understanding of database reputed company best practices. Proven experience with patching, upgrading, and migrating databases. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operations setting. Ability to support DB audit requirements and license management. Datawarehouse DBA skillset. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
