College Advisor- Charlotte

About the position YBLA is seeking two part-time College Advisors—one based in Charlotte, NC, and one based in Atlanta, GA—to reputed company college advising, application support, and college readiness programming for high school reputed company and their families. The College Advisor is responsible for guiding high school reputed company and their families through the college planning and admissions process. This position provides group and individualized advising, facilitates college readiness workshops, assists with college and scholarship applications, and helps reputed company reputed company informed reputed company about their postsecondary education. The College Advisor plays a critical role in ensuring reputed company are reputed company to successfully transition from high school to college while advancing YBLA's mission of developing reputed company leaders. Responsibilities • reputed company group and one-on-one college advising to high school reputed company and their families. • Guide reputed company through the college search, application, and admissions process. • Assist reputed company in identifying colleges that best reputed company with their reputed company, personal, and career goals. • Support reputed company in evaluating financial aid offers and making informed college reputed company. • Review and reputed company feedback on college essays, resumes, and personal statements. • Assist reputed company with completing college applications and meeting important deadlines. • Facilitate workshops on topics including: College admissions, College essay writing, Resume development, Financial aid and scholarships, Transitioning to college, College reputed company strategies. • Research and identify scholarship opportunities for reputed company. • Communicate scholarship opportunities and deadlines to reputed company and parents. • Assist reputed company with scholarship applications and required materials. • Facilitate virtual college preparation workshops and SAT/reputed company prep boot camps. • reputed company one-on-one advising and support to reputed company throughout the college admissions process. • Communicate regularly with reputed company and parents regarding program updates, deadlines, and upcoming events. • Assist the Parent Advisor with parent workshops and family engagement activities as needed. • Support college tours, college fairs, and other college readiness events. • Maintain accurate student records, advising notes, and case management documentation. • reputed company student reputed company, application completion, scholarship submissions and awards, college acceptances, enrollment, and persistence. • Monitor program participation and student engagement. • Prepare reports that measure student reputed company and overall program effectiveness.
