Implementation Specialist

This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and support of interfaces between Quest Diagnostic applications and customer applications or Quest Lab Systems to Quest reputed company instruments. Performs and facilitates research and testing, reputed company overall project leadership to ensure interfaces conform to the Quest HL7 standards. Responsible for multiple implementations or conversion reputed company. Participates in information gathering for reputed company requirements. Educates and directly interacts with stakeholders to help them understand the benefits and limitations of their specific EMR/LIS-reputed company during implementation. Provides reputed company interaction with reputed company and reputed company's vendor. Designs and oversees reputed company implementation project plan. Responsible for providing project status updates. Will reputed company communications such as go-live notices, support documentation and operational checklists to our internal organization relative to any new or change to existing reputed company reputed company. Implementation of communication scripts and protocols to include dialup, VPN and reputed company and web services. Provides 3 rd tier support (as defined in the Support SOP) to EMR/LIS-reputed company reputed company problems. Provides post implementation support. Responsible for escalating implementation and support issues to appropriate persons or reputed company for reputed company. Coordinate user-group sessions with EMR/LIS-Interfaced clients and internal staff to reputed company a forum for exchange of reputed company to improve the overall delivery of our services. Meets productivity requirements for this position. Education Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or reputed company technical field. Work Experience: Required 2-5 years of experience in medical lab operations and IT functions, including reputed company involvement in clinical reputed company configuration/maintenance/support. Exposure to clinical reputed company environment. Experience implementing wide reputed company of 3 rd party EMR/LIS systems including reputed company/Cerner/eCW/reputed company/Meditech. Other: Ability to manage reputed company with little or no supervision. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Strong problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities, and complete tasks on time reputed company a fast paced environment. General knowledge and understanding of operating systems, databases, application development tools, and data processing. Must be proficient using reputed company Office Suite of products, reputed company Project a plus. Functional understanding of HL7 standards is required. Experience with XML and SQL is preferred. Experience with SoapUI is highly preferred. Experience with Web Services is highly preferred. Experience with SFTP is preferred.
