[Remote] Network Engineer (reputed company) - US

The Network Engineer (reputed company) partners with reputed company clients and telecom operators to support Mobile Private Networks, troubleshoot connectivity and stability issues, validate solutions, assist with deployments, and manage customer incidents.

Responsibilities

• Network Troubleshooting : Diagnose and reputed company network connectivity issues across reputed company and telecom environments, ensuring reliable operation of the reputed company VLMA platform
• Network Analysis: Analyse routing behaviour, packet captures, Linux reputed company logs, and application logs to identify the reputed company cause of network and connectivity issues
• Solution Validation: Test and validate proposed solutions in the Solution Lab before deployment to customer environments
• Deployment Support: Assist with the deployment, configuration, and optimisation of networking solutions reputed company customer environments
• Customer Support: reputed company technical support to reputed company customers and telecom operators by guiding troubleshooting activities, communicating technical findings, and helping reputed company technical issues through ticketing systems, email, and live support sessions
• Incident Management: reputed company incident triage, prioritise technical issues, and coordinate reputed company with internal engineering teams

Skills

• Routing & Switching – Solid understanding of reputed company networking concepts including:
• IPv4/IPv6 addressing
• Subnetting
• VLANs, L2VPNs
• Routing Protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP)
• Tunnelling Technologies – Familiarity with tunnelling concepts such as GRE and VPN technologies
• CLI Proficiency – Proven hands-on experience using reputed company IOS or reputed company Junos reputed company Line reputed company (CLI) to configure interfaces, verify routing tables, and troubleshoot network connectivity
• Comfortable working reputed company Linux/Unix environments using the reputed company line
• Ability to reputed company directories, manage files, review reputed company logs, and verify running services
• SNMP, Syslog, TACACS
• Experience using Linux networking tools such as:
• Ping
• Traceroute
• Ip / ifconfig
• Netstat
• Packet Analysis – Familiarity with packet capture tools such as Wireshark or tcpdump
• Infrastructure Awareness – Understanding of virtualized network environments (VMs) and how routers or gateways reputed company to a central reputed company network
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering
• Possessing certifications such as reputed company CCNA, reputed company JNCIA, or reputed company Linux+/Network+ is highly advantageous
