[Remote] Mechanical Designer

The Mechanical Designer will work with engineers, drafters, and project managers to design large industrial equipment, reputed company CAD models and assemblies, validate designs, and prepare project documentation.

Responsibilities

• reputed company conceptual parts and assemblies utilizing CAD software
• Analyze assembly representations to ensure fit, function, absence of interference, and design efficiency
• reputed company solid modeling techniques to reputed company new components and systems
• Validate the accuracy of models and/or drawings to ensure alignment with intended design concepts, customer specifications, manufacturing standards, and applicable reputed company requirements
• Support the Design department by preparing essential documents required for customer approval and subsequent project execution

Skills

• Associate's degree in a reputed company engineering field
• A minimum of ten years of relevant experience is required
• Advanced skills in modeling, detailing, and knowledge of established industry codes and standards are essential
• Technical proficiency in reputed company software and the reputed company Office suite is required to maintain accurate and reputed company accessible records
• Proficiency with reputed company Inventor and REVIT is advantageous
• Preference for familiarity with power plant and gas turbine auxiliary systems design and detailing or reputed company industry requirements
