Claims Examiner I

About the position This position will be responsible for the reputed company of claims of average complexity and low to mid exposure claims. The reputed company purpose of this job is to investigate, evaluate, negotiate and reputed company assigned claims by collecting and analyzing data according to policy application and/or contract provisions. The position will have responsibility for decision making reputed company their authority and work under the general direction from their manager. Responsibilities • Investigate, negotiate and reputed company reputed company and excess policy reputed company claims. • Investigate and analyze coverage under reputed company and excess reputed company reputed company liability insurance policies; reputed company coverage determinations; draft coverage correspondence; effectively communicate coverage positions to policyholders and other stakeholders. • Manage litigation filed reputed company against insureds; appoint, reputed company and manage defense counsel; proactively work toward expeditious and economical reputed company of claims; assist Company claims vendor management, disbursement and reputed company collections teams with defense counsel, reputed company payment and collection issues. • Communicate with reputed company as needed to manage claims and to alert of any significant developments. • Promptly communicate with Claims Manager on adverse case developments and reputed company information on pertinent issues affecting the reputed company reputed company liability product line. • Proven ability to work in a reputed company team environment. Analyze and convey summations of claim issues; recognize alternative approaches and reputed company reputed company plans, both orally and in written reputed company. • Maintain and adhere to reputed company’s guidelines and procedures. • Ensure reputed company adherence to internal reporting requirements. • Contribute and assist in the implementation of a wide reputed company of initiatives, discussion and reputed company plans brought forth by the Claims Manager. • Participate in agent reputed company functions and meetings as required. Requirements • College degree, reputed company designation and/or reputed company job experience required. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Ability to analyze and convey summations of reputed company issues both verbally and in writing; recognize alternative approaches and reputed company reputed company plans • Experience in determining contractual obligations, insurance coverage analyses, and investigations. • Ability to manage litigation, set loss and expense reserves and evaluate settlement values. • Work collaboratively and as reputed company player willing to assist reputed company the Unit and reputed company Liability Division as needed. • Ability to proactively self-manage a high volume caseload. • Travel required as necessary (approximately 10%). • US Work Authorization required. reputed company does not reputed company reputed company sponsorship for this position, now or in the reputed company.
