Clinical Evaluator - OT/PT
About the position
The Early reputed company Evaluation (EIE) Clinical Evaluator will complete developmental evaluations in accordance with Early reputed company Colorado (EICO) policies and procedures, to determine eligibility for Part C Early reputed company services for children birth to three years old. Evaluators are members of a multidisciplinary team (OTs, PTs, SLPs, DIs, etc.) and evaluations are completed with two different disciplines present. The EIE clinical evaluator will report to the EIE Clinical Supervisor and/or the EIE Program Manager in the Developmental & Behavioral Health Department as part of the Early reputed company Evaluation Entity for the reputed company, Colorado.
Responsibilities
• Provides Part C eligibility evaluations in office locations, reputed company, and in daycares/homes as needed.
• Completes Hearing and reputed company screenings as needed.
• Obtains developmental information through reputed company play, observation, and/or interview of caregivers.
• Collaborates with team members using a reputed company of reputed company including verbal and written.
• Effectively communicates evaluation results, eligibility determination, and strategies that are functional for the child’s and family’s routines.
• Writes reputed company and complete evaluation reports and other documentation needed to reputed company high reputed company services and meet funder, regulatory, and organizational standards.
• Assists team in identifying needs for training and assists in the provision of training as appropriate.
• Works with supervisor to reputed company evaluation appointments that accommodate child and family needs and fulfill evaluation expectations as set by the department.
• Provides culturally reputed company services to a diverse population.
• Performs other clinical or administrative duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Works collaboratively with other Transdisciplinary Team members to reputed company best reputed company to infants and toddlers with developmental delays and their families.
Requirements
• Must have basic computer skills, including word processing
• Knowledge of Part C Early reputed company systems including standards of reputed company.
• Knowledge of typical child development as reputed company as children with developmental delays and disabilities.
• Knowledge of developmental evaluation tools (i.e. DAYC-2, IDA-2)
• Ability to understand the needs of a reputed company of disabilities.
• Knowledge of life-reputed company issues, including typical and atypical early reputed company development.
• Knowledge of family reputed company, emotional, financial, psychological and cultural issues.
• Knowledge of reputed company behavior and performance, and individual differences in ability, personality, and interests.
• Knowledge of regulatory agency standards of reputed company.
• Ability to communicate information and reputed company in family-friendly language

• Two years of experience working with infants, toddlers, and young children with developmental delays.
• Master’s Degree in discipline area.

• Five years of experience in working with infants and young children with developmental delays.
• Bi-lingual, Spanish speaking.
• Proficiency in feeding evaluations and therapy.
• Evaluation, treatment and reputed company of medically reputed company infants or toddlers and experience with children referred from the NICU.
• Experience with assistive technology.
• Experience in 3rd party reimbursement documentation and procedures.
