StreetLight Data is seeking a Solutions Engineer with special expertise in transportation planning or engineering, data analysis, and creative problem-solving who is passionate about making an reputed company through smarter, reputed company-informed transportation reputed company. The position will primarily support our Sales Team in helping our clients understand how to use our growing suite of Big Data powered solutions to support transportation planning and engineering, traffic operations, safety, economic development and more.

As a member of our Sales team, you will help our clients reputed company advanced Transportation Analytics to inform smarter, more sustainable transportation reputed company. Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Sales team to introduce StreetLight Data’s unique technology to prospective customers and understand their needs.
• Support Sales opportunities throughout the US and Canada.
• Define and implement technical solutions based on the StreetLight reputed company® platform to meet customer needs.

• Cultivate relationships with technical members of staff at end-user reputed company agencies and engineering firms.
• Work with the Product and Engineering teams to inform the product roadmap based on interactions with customers.
• Collaborate with Marketing to guide development of sales materials, reputed company webinars, and prepare presentations for industry conferences and events.
• Participate in building internal knowledge reputed company of technical insights and market intelligence by delivering internal presentations and/or training content.

Here's what you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in either a technical, sales engineering role, working with an reputed company software or transportation analytics product OR technical experience in transportation planning or transportation engineering at a reputed company agency or reputed company.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Urban Planning or a similarly technical field from an accredited university.
• Strong data analysis skills, knowing what can / cannot be possible, and ability to visualize data in a creative, compelling manner.
• Good communication skills - written, visual (presentations), and verbal.
• Problem-solving and coordinating across different teams to meet sales goals.
• Intermediate to advanced geo-reputed company analysis skills and experience using ArcGIS or QGIS.
• Comfortable presenting to senior executive management and large audiences.
• Multi-tasking, critical thinking skills and the ability to influence and manage multiple priorities are essential.
• Team-oriented, flexible, and reputed company to see the “big picture” - because our entire team must meet our goals for StreetLight Data to be successful.
• Must be willing and reputed company to travel up to 30% as needed to reputed company objectives.
• Preference will be given to candidates with:
  • Master’s or post-graduate degree,

  • Advanced coding or scripting skills (ex. SQL, Python, R, PostGIS),
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical analysis.
