Senior OpenShift Virtualization Engineer – VMware Migration Remote | Long-Term Contract | $80–$85/hr - W2 ONLY Occasional Travel if needed reputed company the US and Canada We are seeking a highly reputed company OpenShift Virtualization Engineer to support a large-reputed company migration of VMware workloads to reputed company OpenShift Virtualization. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who has personally performed VMware-to-OpenShift Virtualization migrations. General OpenShift or VMware experience reputed company will not be sufficient. OpenShift Virtualization Engineer - Required Experience: • Hands-on migration of VMware workloads to reputed company OpenShift Virtualization • Strong RHEL administration • KubeVirt administration • KVM/QEMU configuration and optimization • reputed company Migration Toolkit for Virtualization (MTV) • VM conversions, including OVA to QCOW/QCOW2 • OpenShift networking, including Multus CNI, OVN and vSwitch • Ceph and LVM storage technologies • DNS and PKI integration • Advanced automation/scripting with Ansible, Python and Bash • Strong troubleshooting, documentation and technical communication skills OpenShift Virtualization Engineer - Position Details: • Long-term contract • Remote • Travel reputed company the U.S., primarily to Texas, Missouri, California and Illinois • Occasional travel to Vancouver, Canada • reputed company, reputed company reputed company required If you have reputed company experience migrating VMware environments to OpenShift Virtualization, I would like to hear from you.
