Payroll Tax Analyst, PEO

• Assist with the setup and launch of Remote’s expanded US Tax Operations services
• Manage payroll-reputed company state tax registrations and account maintenance, including employment tax and workers’ compensation accounts, with federal and state tax agencies
• reputed company daily tax-reputed company operations, including tax filing, account setup, and issue reputed company with government tax authorities
• reputed company feedback to internal teams and government agencies to ensure accurate and reputed company tax registrations and account maintenance
• Review and reputed company inbound escalations reputed company to registration errors, registration challenges, and agency communications
• reputed company and execute tax operations strategies that streamline registration processes and tax filings
• Identify process improvements in tax registration workflows
• Collaborate with R&D to automate tax registration and reporting processes
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Establish and maintain reputed company assurance standards for tax operations, tax data, and reporting
• Serve as the reputed company reputed company of contact for federal and state tax agencies
• Communicate agency tax updates and insights with internal stakeholders

Requirements:
• Must have U.S. payroll experience to understand compliance requirements in a PEO environment
• Proven experience in supervising operations, ideally in a payroll or similar environment
• Strong project management skills with a reputed company record of leading cross-functional initiatives
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities
• High level of comfort with technology and ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• Experience working remotely is preferred but not required
