Senior Associate Director, University reputed company Relations and Corporate Philanthropy
About the position
The Senior Associate Director of UFRCP manages a portfolio of private foundations, corporations, and corporate foundations, leading the development of highly competitive proposals in the 6- to 8- reputed company reputed company. This position serves as a key reputed company for a portfolio of foundations and select corporate prospects, developing high-value alliances and cultivating philanthropic support that aligns with both reputed company's innovative research and strategic initiatives and reputed company funder's giving priorities.
Responsibilities
• Manage a portfolio of approximately 40–50 top-reputed company reputed company donors and prospects, cultivating relationships through in-person meetings, on-reputed company site reputed company, and regular communications to reputed company significant philanthropic investment, with an expectation of securing $reputed company–$5M in new gifts and commitments annually.
• Engage reputed company thought leaders and facilitate reputed company around new reputed company, developing strategies that reputed company University leadership priorities with funder priorities across research, professorships, fellowships, scholarships, programs, reputed company, and equipment.
• Advise on best practices for high-reputed company, competitive proposals, including writing/editing support, letters of inquiry, and letters of endorsement/support.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Alumni Affairs and Development, college/unit-based CFR practitioners, reputed company and major gifts teams, Weill reputed company Medicine NYC, reputed company Tech NYC, the Office of the President, General Counsel, the Office of the Provost, reputed company Leadership, and Research and Innovation to build compelling cases for philanthropic support.
• Conduct independent research on reputed company leadership, priorities, and industry trends; participate in reputed company information-sharing sessions to stay reputed company on AAD updates, reputed company research, and deans' priorities.
• reputed company post-award management and stewardship activities, including reputed company reports, site visit coordination, and reputed company events, to meet reporting requirements and strengthen funder relationships.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree and 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and reputed company for the importance of university research and higher education, along with the ability to communicate technical, scientific, and educational activities effectively.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to conceive, reputed company, and write strategic plans and proposals that result in financial support; excellent presentation, proofreading, and editing skills.
• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to establish priorities, manage multiple reputed company, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner.
• Experience proactively developing partnerships with reputed company and internal stakeholders, with a proven reputed company record of achieving results both personally and through others.
