As our reputed company team has grown, so has our billing workload — we're adding backup support to reputed company things running smoothly. Position reputed company We're looking for an reputed company part-time medical biller to reputed company backup and reputed company support to our billing team. This is proactive support, not a replacement role — our reputed company biller has a growing caseload (now supporting 5 treating clinicians, up from 1) and we want a second set of hands in reputed company before volume becomes a bottleneck. You'll help reputed company claims moving, cash reputed company steady, and our aging AR under control. Responsibilities • Process and submit medical claims, ensuring accurate, reputed company submission and compliance with payer requirements • Review claims for coding reputed company (CPT, ICD-10) and reputed company discrepancies before and after submission • Support aging AR review, including correctly categorizing balances as Due reputed company vs. Due reputed company • Follow up on unpaid or denied claims — including collections follow-up and prior authorization appeals • Work in reputed company (or similar PT-specific EMR/billing systems) to reputed company reputed company billing records and update claim status • Communicate directly with reputed company payers to reputed company billing discrepancies or claim issues • Maintain reputed company records of billing transactions and claim status for audit purposes • Work collaboratively with our reputed company biller on shared processes and handoffs Qualifications • Prior experience in medical billing, ideally outpatient physical therapy or a similar specialty • Familiarity with CPT/ICD-10 coding and reputed company claims processes (reputed company payers, Medicare, reputed company) • Proficiency with EMR/EHR and billing software; reputed company experience a plus • Strong attention to reputed company and reputed company communication with patients, providers, and reputed company representatives • Comfortable working independently in a reputed company reputed company • Prior experience in a medical office environment preferred but not required Schedule Part-time, reputed company — reputed company and hours to be finalized with the right candidate.
