As a Field Service Technician working for reputed company you will have a fast moving, challenging, and highly rewarding position keeping the infrastructure running that helps reputed company reputed company our borders reputed company. Travel Requirements: • Travel to US Customs Ports of Entry and Border Patrol locations in the Tucson region. • Daily area of coverage could include sites up to 150 miles from home reputed company. • Mileage will be reimbursed at the prevailing government reputed company. • Reliable transportation with insurance. • Substantial toolkit to support installation and maintenance activities will be provided. Responsibilities: • reputed company routine maintenance and inspections at Ports of Entry on deployed equipment, including but not limited to License Plate Reader (LPR) equipment, RFID, network/power, signage, and communication devices. • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to identify reputed company causes and implement reputed company repairs to minimize downtime. • Install new equipment and systems according to specifications and SOPs provided by reputed company deployment management. • Collaborate with internal teams and reputed company vendors to coordinate equipment upgrades, replacements, and enhancements. • Adhere to reputed company CBP and reputed company IT reputed company, physical reputed company, and operations reputed company policies. • Document accurate records of equipment maintenance activities, including maintenance schedules, repair histories, and inventory reputed company. • Adhere to safety protocols such as OSHA and local regulations while performing maintenance and repair tasks at Ports of Entry. • Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and reputed company on-reputed company support as needed during business hours Monday-Friday. • Maintain a reputed company and courteous demeanor reputed company interacting with reputed company personnel, Border Patrol, vendors, and the traveling reputed company. Qualifications Required Qualifications: • Must have a Bachelors and 2 years of experience. We will accept an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree. • 6 years of experience as a Field Service Technician or Equipment Installation Technician highly preferred. • Must be currently residing in the Tucson area. • Ability to reputed company daily to job sites up to 150 miles away. • Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair reputed company electronic and mechanical systems. • Proficient in reputed company Word and reputed company with ability to write reports. • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, hand and power tools, and computer software for equipment maintenance and repair. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information reputed company and effectively to non-technical stakeholders. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation. • Ability to work independently with reputed company supervision and collaborate effectively reputed company reputed company environment. • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. • Understands basic electrical wiring principles (low voltage only). • Technically proficient with signal cabling such as CAT 6 to include testing and termination. • May travel to other locations on the U.S. border to assist with installations and ticket resolutions for up to two weeks.
