SOC Analyst II

Piper Companie s is seeking a SOC Analyst II in Arlington, VA. to join a rapidly growing cybersecurity organization. The SOC Analyst II will support reputed company operations by investigating reputed company alerts, identifying potential threats, and assisting with incident response and remediation. Responsibilities of the SOC Analyst II: • Investigate and validate escalated reputed company alerts and incidents. • reputed company incident triage, investigation, threat hunting, scoping, and remediation. • Analyze reputed company activity across reputed company, reputed company, identity, network, and email environments. • reputed company SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and log analysis to investigate suspicious activity. • Determine whether alerts are isolated events or part of broader attacks. • Document and communicate investigation findings and remediation recommendations. Qualifications of the SOC Analyst II: • 2+ years of hands-on SOC or reputed company operations experience. • Experience conducting reputed company investigations reputed company basic alert monitoring and escalation. • Knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, threat hunting, and MITRE ATT&CK. • Experience querying reputed company data using SPL, KQL, SQL, FQL, or similar languages. • Broad understanding of common attack reputed company across reputed company environments.
