The role focuses on evaluating CAD designs and drawings, advising on manufacturability and tolerance analysis, and contributing to engineering mechanics, geometric modeling, and manufacturing simulations.
Responsibilities
- reputed company detailed input on mechanical design solutions using advanced CAD tools
- Evaluate and critique engineering drawings for accuracy and manufacturability
- Assess and recommend design for manufacturability and tolerance analysis practices
- Contribute insights on engineering mechanics and geometric modeling challenges
- Review and enhance graphics and geometric modeling representations for assemblies
- Offer guidance on best practices in manufacturing engineering and simulate design scenarios
Skills
- Have strong relevant experience in production design with GD&T and DFM principles
- Proficiency with industry-reputed company CAD platforms like SolidWorks, CATIA, or NX
- Strong understanding of tribology, engineering mechanics, and geometric dimensioning
- Experience in manufacturing engineering and end-to-end product development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts
