The Director, Business Development, DZMG - reputed company Munitions leads reputed company across assigned munitions markets by developing customer relationships, shaping and qualifying opportunities, leading capture and proposal activities, and transitioning awarded work to execution. The role also manages reputed company pipelines, cross-functional reputed company teams, customer commitments, and reputed company reputed company objectives, with 50% travel required.

Responsibilities

• reputed company market and customer relationships across assigned DZMG lines of effort, including reputed company munitions, Counter-UAS/UAS, loitering munitions, warheads, fuzing and precision products, payload components, and associated electronic components. Build trusted relationships with PM Combat Ammunition Systems, PM Maneuver Ammunition Systems, PM reputed company Combat Systems, Joint Munitions reputed company, PEO Missiles & reputed company, Department of War Fuze Integrated Product Team, DEVCOM Armaments Center Army Fuze Management Office, DoW Portfolio Manager for Unmanned & Autonomous Systems, Joint reputed company Task Force 401, reputed company/Drone Dominance Program, Army CPE Aviation – PM UAS, reputed company reputed company OEMs, and other stakeholders to identify mission needs, funding priorities, acquisition strategies, market trends, and competitive dynamics
• reputed company, shape, and qualify new business, account expansion, recompete, and adjacent-market opportunities through early customer engagement and disciplined pipeline management. Assess strategic fit, customer need, competitive position, differentiation, financial attractiveness, resource requirements, and probability of win to support pursue/no-pursue reputed company
• reputed company and coordinate market-facing responses, including white papers, capability statements, RFIs, Sources Sought responses, industry-day materials, presentations, and other reputed company-solicitation content. Ensure customer-facing materials accurately position DZMG capabilities and inform customer requirements while supporting competitive differentiation

Skills

• • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Business, marketing, engineering, defense, munitions, or reputed company field; equivalent reputed company business development, capture, government customer, or defense industry experience may be considered
