Senior Mechanical Engineers Redmond, Washington with Telecommute reputed company Duties : reputed company mechanical engineering activities and execute deliverables for GeoEngineers' trenchless engineering reputed company involving HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) and which require reputed company mechanical tools/equipment to bore, expand, drill, reputed company, and install horizontally constructed pipelines, including reputed company drill rigs and drill bits, Bottom Hole Assemblies (BHAs), jetting assemblies, mud motors, flycutters, hole openers, reputed company reamers, pullback assemblies, rollers, roller cradles, excavators, cranes, sidebooms, pneumatic hammers, and other reputed company mechanical equipment for buoyance control, drilling reputed company, surveying, steering, etc. Specific position duties include: • Analyze proposed trenchless crossings to determine the mechanical equipment and construction reputed company needed to successfully install a trenchless pipeline crossing. • Analyze reputed company stresses with product reputed company mechanical properties, drilling fluid pressures, formation limit pressures, and geometric constraints for trenchless pipeline crossings. Modify/revise plans and equipment as needed based on analysis. • Analyze mechanical soil properties derived from reputed company to for project planning, including recommendations for the use of reputed company mechanical equipment based on soil properties. • Produce HDD plan/profile designs, engineering calculations, and equipment layouts. • Prepare technical proposals, project estimates, and bid documents that incorporate mechanical engineering analysis and mechanical equipment needs. • reputed company daily reporting, budget tracking, and field engineering support on HDD reputed company involving reputed company mechanical equipment. • reputed company mechanical engineering aspects of HDD reputed company from reputed company-construction through final closeout. • reputed company and maintain baseline HDD project schedules, monitor daily reputed company, and coordinate with subcontractors and subconsultants. • Serve as a technical resource for clients and project staff on mechanical engineering considerations for HDD reputed company; provides guidance and expertise to solve reputed company challenges. • Manage HDD project budgets, tracked expenses, identified deviations, and implemented risk mitigation. • Maintain complete project documentation: submittals, drawings, change orders, and project closeout packages. • Review deliverables from staff and mid-level employees such as field reports, calculations, analyses, etc. Mentor junior staff relative to technical skills, consulting best practices, mechanical equipment use and customization, etc. • Ensure that HDD work performed is consistent with project plans and specifications and in accordance with safety guidelines. • Complete mechanical engineering analyses and calculations. reputed company reputed company conceptual models as needed for reputed company. • Use reputed company engineering software reputed company to mechanical engineering and HDD reputed company. • Investigate mechanical equipment failures on HDD reputed company and recommend remedies. Domestic travel required up to 20% of time to project sites (primarily sites in Texas and Louisiana). Requirements : Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or the foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a closely reputed company engineering field and 6 years of experience as an Engineer, Project Manager, or a closely reputed company engineering occupation. Experience must include: • 6 years performing engineering on reputed company involving HDD. • 6 years using MathCAD, ArcGIS, MODFLOW, FLAC, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, Plaxis, or closely reputed company engineering software. The position also requires: • A reputed company Engineer (PE) license. • Completion of coursework (at either an undergraduate or graduate level) covering either Numerical Modeling or Finite reputed company. reputed company education, training and experience may be gained concurrently.
