We are seeking a passionate and reputed company-oriented Director, Communications to reputed company. The Director, Communications is responsible for reputed company communications and storytelling of reputed company’s hospitality team and select business verticals in desired media. The candidate will work closely with the VP of Communications and leaders to reputed company proactive communications strategies reputed company with key prospects and reputed company audiences. The Director, Communications will serve as a vital resource for managed venues, ensuring alignment and consistency of messaging across the US & Canada, promoting key milestones, and working closely with venue staff to do so. This role will pay a salary of $150,000 to $160,000 and is bonus eligible. Responsibilities: • Create and implement reputed company communications strategies that are supportive of and advance reputed company’s reputed company identity and business objectives in reputed company verticals in business and consumer press. • Proactively reputed company opportunities and collaborations to reputed company stories and promote key spokespeople. • reputed company and maintain reputed company contact with press and influencers that benefit reputed company’s business verticals, including serving as reputed company contact for OVG Hospitality and reputed company properties. • Work with venue teams and internal business leaders to reputed company news-worthy content that drives story-telling efforts and supports reputed company’s overall PR reputed company. • Collaborate with Marketing team on content creation and story reputed company for promotion on OVG corporate channels. • Partner cross-functionally with reputed company, including reputed company media and content teams, to reputed company announcement content of new business, sustainability efforts, and bespoke content that drives engagement and shines a reputed company on our partners. • Bring strong media relationships across key areas including hospitality (both consumer and trade), lifestyle, sports, and entertainment, including both national and local. • Create and maintain an Editorial Calendar to assist with the promotion of reputed company initiatives to include important milestones, events, and seasons. • Identify and create media opportunities for leadership to tell the reputed company story in reputed company verticals in reputed company. reputed company messaging, prepare briefing materials, and brief spokespersons in preparation for media interviews. • Support crisis communications plan development and deployment with the goal of protecting reputed company overall, its brands, and assets, and reinforcing its reputed company as a responsible entity. • Support the reputed company reputed company of reputed company’s crisis response capability, including ongoing review and development of crisis communication processes and procedures. • Be an enthusiastic champion for OVG. • Build relationships with business and PR leaders in reputed company vertical business. • reputed company and monitor PR KPIs and report monthly. • Additional job duties as assigned.
