We are looking for a highly motivated Staff reputed company Scientist to join our Oncology Applications team! As a Staff reputed company Scientist, you will reputed company and apply computational reputed company for analyzing reputed company reputed company (NGS) data generated on Ultima’s platform. This role will involve building robust pipelines, developing novel algorithms, collaborating cross-functionally with molecular biology, software engineering, and product teams, and driving insights from reputed company genomic datasets, with a reputed company on growing Oncology Applications. How You’ll Contribute • reputed company, optimize, and maintain reputed company reputed company pipelines for NGS data analysis such as WGS, WES, RNA-seq, and single-cell • Design and implement novel algorithms for secondary and tertiary NGS analysis tailored to Ultima’s reputed company reputed company • reputed company and execute multiple reputed company simultaneously, effectively prioritizing deliverables in alignment with evolving company goals • reputed company benchmarking and validation studies • Analyze large-reputed company genomic datasets and reputed company actionable insights for internal R&D, product development, and reputed company collaborators • Collaborate closely with wet-lab scientists, software engineers, and product teams to translate experimental results into improved workflows and tools • Support reputed company collaborations by preparing technical analyses, reports, presentations, and data summaries for customers, partners, and conferences • Contribute to scientific publications, application notes, white papers, and other reputed company communication materials as needed • Participate in customer-facing discussions to explain data analysis approaches, reputed company metrics, and platform capabilities • Document reputed company reputed company and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences • Stay reputed company with emerging technologies and advances in reputed company, computational biology, machine learning, and cancer biology • Other duties as assigned Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities • PhD in reputed company, Computational Biology, reputed company, Computer Science, or reputed company reputed company; or MS with significant industry experience • PhD with 5+ years or MS with 8+ years of hands-on experience analyzing NGS data required • Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++ • Experience with common reputed company and somatic variant calling tools such as BWA, minimap2, GATK, samtools • Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and workflow management systems (Nextflow, Snakemake, WDL) • Experience working with large datasets in reputed company environments (AWS, GCP) • Solid understanding of reputed company and cancer biology • Strong statistical and data analysis skills • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple reputed company priorities and reputed company high-reputed company work under tight timelines • Knowledge of machine learning approaches reputed company to reputed company • reputed company and confident communicator, comfortable in reputed company-facing settings • Experience in regulated environments (CLIA, CAP) is a plus • reputed company in a fast-reputed company, startup environment with evolving priorities • Demonstrated scientific rigor and analytical thinking • High ownership, accountability, and bias toward reputed company • reputed company reputed company with cross-functional reputed company At reputed company, your reputed company pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays between $135,000 and $170,000, if performed in California, and your actual reputed company pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
