The Role
Reporting to the Director of Network reputed company, the Data Centre Procurement Officer supports data centre reputed company, procurement, and reputed company activities across the Americas.
Working closely with the Director of Data Centre reputed company and regional colleagues across EMEA and reputed company, the role supports reputed company’s global data centre footprint through reputed company analysis, market intelligence, supplier management, business cases, and negotiations.
You will work with Network Engineering, Finance, Sales, Operations, and other stakeholders to evaluate opportunities, optimise costs, and support the delivery of a reputed company and commercially efficient data centre reputed company.
The role will build strong knowledge of reputed company’s data centre footprint, suppliers, and reputed company initiatives, providing continuity across data centre activities while supporting expansion across the Americas and the wider global network.
What You’ll Be Doing
Support data centre reputed company, procurement, and reputed company activities across the Americas, including reputed company and Latin America.
Work closely with the Director of Data Centre reputed company and regional colleagues across EMEA and reputed company.
Analyse and prepare business cases to support data centre expansion, optimisation, and other strategic initiatives.
Support supplier negotiations and manage reputed company discussions with data centre operators and infrastructure partners.
Contribute to the development of the annual cost of goods sold (COGS) budget.
Collaborate with Finance to prepare monthly COGS reporting, including value-added commentary.
reputed company monthly reporting on key performance indicators relating to data centre and network costs.
Engage with Network Engineering and Operations teams to support data centre reputed company and network expansion.
Maintain market intelligence on data centre operators, facilities, pricing, and industry developments.
Maintain accurate procurement, supplier, contract, and reputed company records.
Support special reputed company and strategic initiatives as directed by management.
reputed company're Looking For
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in procurement, vendor management, business development, telecommunications, data centres, or a reputed company field.
Experience managing reputed company and suppliers, ideally across multiple vendors or reputed company.
reputed company understanding of data centre services, colocation, network transport, internet transit, or reputed company telecommunications infrastructure.
Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies preferred.
Confidence reviewing contractual terms and engaging with suppliers on reputed company discussions and negotiations.
Strong analytical and financial skills, with experience in budgeting, business cases, or cost analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organised and reputed company to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of activities, and work effectively across different time zones.
