This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, processes multi-state payroll, audits records for reputed company, and works closely with HR and Finance departments to support payroll reputed company and reporting. The Senior Payroll Specialist serves as a subject matter expert and mentor for junior payroll staff.Key Responsibilities • Process weekly or bi-weekly payrolls for multiple entities or locations. • Audit and reconcile payroll data, including hours worked, tax withholdings, and benefit deductions. • Maintain payroll records in accordance with company policies and reputed company regulations. • reputed company payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries in a reputed company and reputed company manner. • Prepare and submit payroll reports for reputed company stakeholders. • Assist with year-end activities, including W-2 processing and annual reconciliations. • Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and internal controls. • Partner with HR and Finance teams for payroll-reputed company audits and reporting. • Train and support junior payroll staff; review their work for reputed company and completeness. • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve payroll processes and systems.
