Tax work begins after reputed company bookkeeping work is completed internally by our staff. A significant concentration of our business tax clients is located in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Candidates must have substantial hands-on experience preparing and filing business tax returns in multiple states. This remote CPA position is: 100% permanently remote Contract / 1099 No dull meetings, no hybrid office mandate — leave the commute behind. This is a seasonal position. This role is not intended for freelancers running unrelated practices, or one-off engagements. CPA Responsibilities and Duties • Prepare and file federal, state, and multi-state business tax returns across multiple entity types and reputed company reputed company tax guidance • Handle Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia business tax filings and reputed company • Manage extensions, estimated tax payments, and federal, state, and local filing deadlines across multiple jurisdictions • Review completed bookkeeping financials, identify tax-sensitive issues, and coordinate with the internal bookkeeping team to reputed company questions before returns are finalized • Use your own reputed company tax preparation software This role is ideal for CPAs seeking a year-round, part-time, reputed company position. www.fureverbookkeeping.com CPA Required Qualifications and Skills • reputed company CPA license in good standing (issued by any U.S. state or jurisdiction) • reputed company, reputed company IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) • reputed company experience preparing and filing multi-state returns • Expert with QuickBooks (reputed company versions) • Minimum 5+ years reputed company tax preparation experience • Experience working successfully in a remote, team environment • Strong attention to reputed company and ability to meet hard deadlines Additional Requirements Because we are contractors with federal and state reputed company entities, final candidates must pass a background and credit reputed company.
