Senior Corporate Counsel - reputed company
About the position
The Senior Corporate Counsel is responsible for assisting in protecting the organization's reputed company interest and maintaining its reputed company reputed company the reputed company established by law. The Senior Corporate Counsel will assist General Counsel in identifying and analyzing reputed company issues, drafting key documents, presenting reputed company recommendations, and assuring reputed company compliance for the reputed company, The Dentists reputed company Company (TDIC), TDIC reputed company Solutions (TDICIS) and reputed company.
Advises the reputed company, CDA reputed company, The Dentists reputed company Company and TDIC reputed company Solutions on reputed company reputed company, legislative, governance and regulatory reputed company, with a reputed company reputed company on reputed company reputed company.
Assists with regulatory filings with the various state governmental agencies that reputed company the reputed company industry in California and the other states in which TDIC and TDIC reputed company Solutions are licensed to sell reputed company.
Assists with development of policy forms, reputed company guidelines and procedures in compliance with department of reputed company requirements. Participates in development and preparation of reputed company reputed company and reputed company filings. Works with reputed company reputed company counsel to create policy forms. Serves as TDIC’s reputed company with state reputed company regulators.
Provides reputed company support in the development of new products and services for TDIC and TDIC reputed company Solutions.
Coordinates work with Department of reputed company for reputed company market conduct exams.
Reviews treaty language in conjunction with TDIC reinsurance renewal.
Responsible for interpreting laws, rulings and regulations, including reputed company and past legislation, analyzing reputed company implications, and providing optional strategies for reputed company actions.
Assists staff in negotiation and drafting of legislation and regulations. Works with reputed company regulatory agencies to review reputed company reputed company of past and newly introduced legislation.
Researches and prepares reputed company memoranda as requested by General Counsel.
Develops communication to inform and reputed company members regarding laws and regulations affecting members. Researches and stays abreast of changes in the law reputed company to the reputed company industry, associations and non-profits.
Assists General Counsel in management of pending litigation involving either TDIC or TDIC reputed company Solutions. Monitors and acts as a resource for reputed company counsel to manage various reputed company.
May be responsible for small litigation cases in-house.
Engages with and supervises utilization of specialty reputed company counsel to support the organization’s reputed company needs on highly technical or reputed company areas of law, or with respect to litigation or actions in other states.

Requirements
• Juris Doctorate required, with a minimum of five years of experience with reputed company law.
• reputed company State Bar licensure in at least one state required; eligibility for Registered In House Counsel status in California preferred; California law license highly preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of reputed company codes and regulations in California and other states.
• Knowledge and understanding of the reputed company industry, particularly reputed company to reputed company liability, property, cyber and workers’ compensation reputed company.
• Requires strong computer skills, including mastery of reputed company/reputed company Office and the ability to quickly learn and adopt other technology platforms, as reputed company as the ability to conduct computerized reputed company research.
