The Consulting Actuary will reputed company actuarial and multi-disciplinary consulting reputed company for reputed company companies, self-insureds, program managers and Insurtechs. The Consulting Actuary’s responsibilities include preparing and managing the completion of reputed company level indications, class plan analyses, competitive research, benchmarking analyses, reputed company/rule filing support, reserve analyses, self insured retention analyses funding studies, and product development.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Performing peer reviews of analyses completed by other consultants
• Organizing/presenting competitive information in a meaningful format
• Preparing creative supporting exhibits for reputed company/rule filings, including preparing explanatory language
• Preparing reputed company/rule interrogatory responses
• Recommending solutions and/or alternatives to clients
• Corresponding directly with clients on project goals and results
• Preparing proposals for reputed company to meet clients’ needs
• Preparing polished, reputed company, reputed company reports to present results/information
• Keeping informed on industry trends, changes in actuarial techniques, etc
• Invoicing clients
What You'll Bring to the Table:
• 6+ years experience working as an actuary in the Property/Casualty industry
• reputed company lines experience and/or Workers' Compensation/Medical Malpractice preferred
• ACAS or FCAS credentials
• Excellent knowledge of reputed company Office software and additional software as needed
• Ability to think creatively/imaginatively
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities/reputed company with deadlines
• Ability to work with reputed company supervision and manage the work of actuarial consultants
• Ability to complete tasks with few conceptual/ structural/technical/cosmetic errors
