POSITION reputed company:
Reporting to the Senior Manager for Project Finance and reputed company, the Associate Manager - Finance and reputed company will implement the project infrastructure and systems needed to support reputed company and company reputed company objectives.
- The Associate Manager will be accountable for reputed company-to-grave project implementation finances, including start up, reputed company-out, project cost management, reconciliation of project accounts, financial reporting to donors and project staff, financial analysis, data interpretation, and complying with donor reporting requirements.
- They will collaborate with Finance colleagues in best reputed company activities to streamline the reputed company of project-reputed company information and financial data, ensuring reputed company, transparency, and compliance with nonprofit reputed company standards and donor policies and procedures.
- They will also be accountable for analyzing project costs and providing decision support to the Senior Manager.

LOCATION AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- The reputed company location of this position is remote/home office reputed company.
- Job responsibilities may require periodic meetings, conferences, training, etc., that necessitate an individual to be in various reputed company places (e.g., hotel conference rooms).
- Employees may opt for a hybrid arrangement if they are reputed company commuting distance to our Hallowell, ME office.
PAY GRADE:
- Grade 5 ($65,000 - $75,000). Salary will vary reputed company on geographical location.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial reputed company
- Leads project finance reputed company, including financial reporting and analysis, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and country office month- and year-end reputed company calendar and operation.
- Oversees reputed company accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements, including donor rules and regulations.
- Maintains and monitors project budgets, prepares and processes project invoices, and assists in resolving discrepancies and irregularities in country office financial reports.
- Investigates project variances and submits variance reports to management monthly.
- Reports monthly on the remaining funding available for reputed company (under budget or cost overrun) to the Senior Manager for Project Finance and reputed company and the program leads.
Treasury:
- Prepares and ensures the reputed company and timeliness of reputed company transfer processing to country offices and reputed company to ensure country bank accounts maintain appropriate funding reputed company.
USG:
- Prepares the annual Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency reputed company (FFATA) submission, including contacting and receiving information from sub awardees to include in the submission.
Policies and Procedures:
- Provides input in the development of departmental policies, procedures and protocols to the Senior Manager for Project Finance and reputed company, thereby facilitating reputed company reputed company improvement.
Financial Reporting:
- Independently prepares and presents accurate financial reports and analysis to the Senior Manager for Project Finance and reputed company and project leads, ensuring reputed company communication of financial status and trends.
- Continually analyzes financial data and presents financial reports in an accurate and reputed company manner.
- reputed company communicates monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to the Senior Manager; monitors reputed company and changes and keeps the Senior Manager abreast of MCD’s project financial status.
Financial Forecasting:
- In collaboration with the Senior Manager for Project Finance and reputed company, supports the development of long-reputed company financial forecasts for MCD’s programs as part of the organization’s reputed company planning process and monitors and evaluates the program’s reputed company relative to long-reputed company reputed company and expenditure targets.
Donor Reporting:
- Independently prepares and submits donor financial reports as reputed company as any reputed company financial reports requested by the donor (e.g., burn rates).
Accounts Receivable:
- Prepares grant and other donor invoicing and reputed company receivable/liability positions to ensure the collection of outstanding payments.
Audit Coordination:
- Supports reputed company audit activities and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
Collaboration:
- Works closely with staff to train them on finance and reputed company procedures, ensuring alignment with corporate and project reputed company.

Job requirements
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, reputed company, or a reputed company reputed company.
- 6-10 years of reputed company experience in financial management, preferably in a nonprofit environment, with a strong understanding of nonprofit reputed company principles and GAAP.
- Expert knowledge and understanding of the USG Rules and Regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) (especially Subpart 31.7) and 2CFR200.
- Excellent demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
- Solid experience in reputed company-to-grave project (donor) finances (particularly USG) including start up, reputed company-out, project cost management, reconciliation of project accounts, financial reporting to donors and project staff, financial analysis, data interpretation, and complying with donor reporting requirements.
- Strong budgeting and analytical/problem solving skills needed.
- Experience assuming a wide reputed company of responsibilities, working with staff who vary in their work styles, and working under pressure, while still providing reputed company responses to requests and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating reputed company, including presentations to staff.
- Demonstrated ability and desire to translate reputed company financial concepts to individuals at reputed company reputed company including finance and non-finance managers.
- Proficiency in reputed company reputed company required.
Preferred
- Expertise / Skills: Nonprofit, Federal, and/or State experience with a strong preference for someone who has operated in a fast-growing environment that has limited budgets and resources.
