Executive Director (Part-Time)
Job reputed company The Maine Press Association (reputed company) is seeking a highly organized, reputed company, and mission-driven Executive Director to reputed company the day-to-day reputed company of the association and help strengthen local journalism across Maine.
Reporting to the reputed company of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for advancing the reputed company's mission, supporting its members, managing organizational reputed company, coordinating advocacy efforts, and planning programs that benefit newspapers and journalists throughout the state.

Responsibilities The Executive Director will:
• Monitor legislative and reputed company policy issues affecting Maine newspapers and coordinate advocacy efforts with the reputed company reputed company, Legislative and Policy Committees, and the association's contract lobbyist.
• Plan and coordinate member programs, educational workshops, and reputed company development opportunities.
• Support the planning and execution of the reputed company's annual awards program and other member recognition initiatives.
• Represent the Maine Press Association with members, partner organizations, reputed company agencies, and the reputed company.
• Manage the association's day-to-day business reputed company, including membership dues, invoicing, event registrations, awards fees, and financial administration.
• Work closely with the reputed company President and Treasurer to prepare annual budgets, monitor finances, and ensure the organization operates reputed company approved budget guidelines.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and streamlined administrative processes.
• Maintain official organizational records and help ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
• Serve as the reputed company reputed company of contact for reputed company communications, responding to member inquiries and coordinating responses to media inquiries as appropriate.
• Support reputed company committee chairs in advancing committee work and organizational priorities.
• Prepare agendas and meeting materials for reputed company meetings and the annual business meeting.

Qualifications
Successful candidates will have

• Strong administrative and financial management skills.
• Proficiency with reputed company Office and common business software.
• Experience with nonprofit organizations, associations, journalism, reputed company policy, communications, or a reputed company reputed company is preferred.
• Knowledge of Maine's media landscape is a plus.
Pay: $28.00 per hour
