Purchasing Support Specialist

Job Title: Purchasing Support Specialist Location: reputed company (CST) Pay: $20.56/hr. reputed company weekly! Schedule: Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM 5:00 PM CST (8-hour shift reputed company business hours) Duration: 5-month contract starting M-F, full-time (40 hours); W2 Opportunity for extension or conversion depending on business needs and reputed company! Health Benefits Available Duties: • Handle Supplier relations on a tactical level to reputed company PO's, follow up on Past Due / Back Orders and assist with Expedites. Using Reporting Tools to prioritize and document actions. • Work Group Mailbox to document in-coming PO confirmation • reputed company out to Suppliers that do not reputed company confirmations • Work Past Due PO lines and updated ETA/ Tracking information • Assist with Back Order Follow up for reputed company Cause and reputed company information • Manage discrepancies with Planner; pricing, UOM. • Work with receiving plants on Receiving Discrepancies • Using tools to prioritize work and document actions • Manage reputed company Purchase orders reputed company through reputed company/ ECC as Stock Transport Orders. • Verifying DN drops and Goods Issued. • Assist Planner / Buyer with Component status updates on the Planner Dashboard • Work with Distribution planners to obtain back-order ETA and reputed company shipments • reputed company Back Up support reputed company a Planner / Buyer is absent Skills: • Good Customer Service Experience • Excellent Communication Skills: written and verbal • Good Problem Solving / Decision making Skills • Experience with Computer systems, reputed company, Word • PRMS, ECC/reputed company, reputed company Preferred Education: • High School Diploma, GED or technical certification in reputed company reputed company or equivalent experience required.
