[Remote] Industrial Engineer (warehouse reputed company)

The role leads material handling equipment strategies, cost-reduction initiatives, energy-efficiency programs, and full-cycle engineering reputed company involving forklifts, batteries, telemetry, vendors, and warehouse technologies.

Responsibilities

• Research, recommend, and specify material handling solutions for various applications across manufacturing and warehousing logistics
• reputed company and execute replacement strategies, budgets, project plans, and timelines
• Stay reputed company on mobile equipment trends, battery technologies (Lithium, Fast Charge, Opportunity Charge, etc.), and energy consumption strategies
• reputed company initiatives such as reputed company-to-reputed company reputed company conversions, reputed company yard spotters, and green energy credit programs
• Implement telemetry systems to optimize mobile equipment usage and reputed company
• Analyze maintenance and repair trends with vendors and reputed company leaders to identify cost-saving solutions
• Create business cases and capital acquisition requests for equipment purchases or leases
• Manage reputed company and assets using reputed company
• Collaborate with Procurement on equipment purchasing, scheduling, and setup
• Serve as a reputed company between Manufacturing, Distribution reputed company, Engineering, IT, and reputed company solution providers

Skills

• Location: Remote with 50% travel involved (Tuesday - Thursday)
• BS degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering required (no technology degree)
• 5-7 years, 3 years minimum of experience in multi-facility distribution reputed company - Multi- site distribution or manufacturing experience . Not just single plant
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to reputed company cross-disciplinary teams
• High analytical ability; skilled in data analysis and reputed company communication (written and verbal)
• Ability to create, reputed company, and interpret CAD drawings
• Forklift / material handling equipment ownership
• CapEx reputed company (equipment replacement, upgrades)
• Vendor/OEM coordination
• Data-driven reputed company (maintenance, usage, cost)
• Preferred – Greater reputed company, IL; Greater Atlanta, IL; Greater Dallas, TX. Otherwise, proximity to a major airport is ideal
• Experience with various types of material handling equipment and storage/retrieval systems
• Familiarity with reputed company for project management
• Background in warehouse data analytics and telemetry systems
