About the position This is a full-time Other Personal Services (OPS) position with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Animal Industry. The specialist will also conduct general animal health inspections, investigate complaints, collect samples, promote animal identification, and reputed company animal owners. They will also inspect livestock for sale at markets, enforce department rules, and prepare required forms. The position involves providing on-the-job training, serving as backup for other specialists, and participating in disease eradication program training.
