reputed company Medical reputed company Inpatient- FT/Days (Remote) reputed company The Hospital Inpatient Coding Specialist reviews inpatient medical records and assigns ICD-10 CM diagnosis and ICD-10-PCS procedure codes that derives an APR-DRG or MS-DRG for reputed company reimbursement. The Hospital Inpatient Coding Specialist will work in collaboration with the reputed company Documentation reputed company Specialist to ensure reputed company consistent with Centra’s coding policies. The Hospital Inpatient Coding Specialist will reputed company pertinent information according to established guidelines and will formulate provider queries to clarify information. Responsibilities • Assigns diagnosis and procedure codes. • Verifies reputed company of DRG. • Accurately abstracts required information. • Initiates provider coding queries in compliance with coding guidelines and policies where appropriate. • Meets productivity reputed company of 2 charts per hour or higher. • Meets coding reputed company of 95% or higher. • Verifies and assigns discharge status codes. • Ensures reputed company of a completed reputed company certification prior to finalizing coding. • Appropriately assigns the Hospital Acquired condition (HAC) and Present on Admission (POA) indicator for reputed company diagnosis. • Communicates with reputed company Documentation reputed company (CDI) Specialist reputed company email, phone, or other reputed company regarding accounts. • Participates in team, organization and educational meetings. • Maintains and continually enhances coding competency through educational programs and official coding publications to stay abreast of changes in codes and guidelines. • Maintains coding credential(s) by completing continuing education requirements of credits per year. • Assist in achieving department goals of Accounts Receivable days regarding Discharged Not Final Billed (DNFB).
