Mobile Apps Engineering Lead

Description: • We're on the lookout for new team members as we're on an incredible growth journey. • A vibrant culture of learning and empowerment awaits you. • We're all about equality and inclusion, valuing diversity. • Contribute to a world where Tech redefines our future with our experts. • Lead a small team of engineers while also hands-on writing code. • Design and develop a responsive and performant Mobile App built using React Native. • Build Mobile App and UI components from prototypes and wireframes. • Manage and coach a team of junior Engineers to raise their bar on execution and Engineering quality. • Build engineering plans and timelines to reflect product plans/ priorities. Requirements: • 6+ years of total experience • Experience in building and shipping at least two production (industrial grade) Mobile Apps serving a large user base (tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of Users). • Experience with ideally two or more (but at least one) of the following mobile... app Tech. Stacks: React Native, Flutter, and/or Native Android with Kotlin • Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, React Native, and frameworks and libraries for building Mobile Apps. • Experience working with React Native along with tools like Databases, APIs, Redux, Firebase, Instabug, Sentry.io, DataDog, etc • Experience with unit and integration testing and test automation frameworks and tools, and ideally hands-on experience with TDD (Test Driven Development) • Experience setting up and working with CI/ CD pipelines • Expertise with native tools like XCode, Gradle, and Android Studio. • Experience working with native modules and APIs for tight integrations with both platforms – Android and iOS. • Experience working with REST APIs, mobile device sensors, offline storage, and third-party libraries. • Understanding of security aspects of Mobile Apps and how to mitigate any security risks. • Experience in scaling mobile app design and architecture to cope with very high user growth and spikes in user traffic. • Experience with public Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and working with Cloud infrastructure and managed services. • Experience in publishing apps to both Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
