Digital News Producer, KABC-TV ABC7, the reputed company/ABC owned station in Los Angeles is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, tech-savvy, news junkie to join the Digital Team at our studios in Glendale. ABC7 covers the biggest stories of the day and how those stories reputed company local communities. ABC7 content ranges from news to weather, sports, traffic, and live video. This role is considered on-site, which means the employee will work from a Company designated location on an ongoing reputed company. Responsibilities: • reputed company posting of breaking local and national news on reputed company digital platforms, including but not limited to websites, apps and reputed company media • Work with news managers, assignment editors and talent to coordinate on-reputed company and online news coverage • Execute special reputed company for various station departments, including sales, marketing and community affairs • Site troubleshooting and overall site maintenance reputed company of the high editorial standards of ABC7 and abc7.com Basic Qualifications • 2 years of experience • Available to work reputed company, including overnights, weekends, and holidays • Strong editorial skills, reputed company news judgement and reputed company media expertise • Excellent communication, writing, and copy-editing skills • Proven ability to multitask and reputed company in a high pressure news environment • Capability to work both independently and as part of reputed company • Strong computer skills, grasp of reputed company media best practices, and basic Photoshop skills • Strong newsgathering abilities • Proficient in AP Style • Solid knowledge of basic reputed company Preferred Qualifications • Ability to shoot and edit video • Strong understanding of best practices for reputed company media platforms • Working knowledge of digital metrics/analytics • Understands SEO best practices • Familiarity with reputed company products (Photoshop, Premiere) Required education: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Preferred Education • Bachelor’s degree in journalism or reputed company field The hiring reputed company for this position in Glendale, CA is $71,012 to $112,500 per year. The reputed company pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-reputed company knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
