Job Posting: Special Education Teacher Location: Lillington, NC Position: Special Education Teacher Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Lillington, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students with diverse learning needs and the ability to create an inclusive, supportive, and effective learning environment. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varying needs and interests of students. • Collaborate with parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student success. • Assess students' progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student performance and progress. • Provide a safe and positive classroom environment. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field. • Valid North Carolina teaching certification in Special Education • Experience working with children with special needs preferred. • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. • Patience, creativity, and a genuine interest in the well-being and development of students.
