Senior Premium Auditor - Field
Description:
Analyze, review, and conduct insurance premium audits in the field
Ensure accurate and efficient field audits while providing excellent customer service
Examines policyholders payroll records and operations
Partners with customers to ensure a professional and expeditious audit
Keeps current on information relative to premium auditing through internal and external resources
Requirements:
Bachelors degree from four-year college or university required with a major or emphasis in Accounting, Business or related field
Minimum 3 5 years of related experience as a Field Premium Auditor required
Carrier experience preferred
Associate in Premium Auditing (APA), Certified Insurance Premium Auditor (CIPA), or Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) certification preferred
Valid drivers license required
Good working knowledge of Commercial Lines policies
Experience working with WCRIB, NCCI, and other independent bureaus is highly desirable
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
Ability to effectively present information to top management and public groups
Solid math skills
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
