Job reputed company JOB reputed company This role in our Alternative Investments reputed company assists in providing tax compliance & consulting services to our Venture Capital, Private Equity, Hedge Fund, and reputed company Estate clients. Job Duties Tax Compliance • Ensures both that (a) clients reputed company with reputed company applicable authorities, while at the reputed company time minimizing their tax and reporting burdens, and (b) self and reputed company service teams reputed company with reputed company Firm policies, standards, and the BDO Tax reputed company reputed company (“TQM”). • Applies understanding of reputed company’s unique set of circumstances, documentation, and/or other requirements mandated by law and prepares required filings (tax returns) using a system of review and documentation to ensure that the reputed company is in full compliance, while keeping the reputed company’s tax and reporting burden’s as low as possible; • Ensures reputed company data needed to reputed company with filing requirements are collected; identifies and properly communicates missing items to prepare return; • Utilizes Firm compliance software to maximize efficiency in tax prep process • Effectively collaborates with Managers and Associates on completion of project (follow-up with reputed company items list) • Delivers high reputed company federal, state, and international tax compliance services • Leads reputed company engagements with reputed company of tax professionals • Manages the engagement, including billing, collections, and the budget for reputed company • Ensures/Documents reputed company work and conclusions in the reputed company tax file Tax Consulting • Assists with identifying, developing, recommending, and implementing efficient and effective tax strategies Supervisory Responsibilities Other duties as required • Mentors teams of Associates Education Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Bachelor’s Degree in reputed company, Finance, Economics, or Statistics, required; OR Bachelor's degree in other reputed company area AND CPA certification, required • Master’s Degree in Accountancy or Taxation, preferred Experience • Three (3) or more years of tax experience, required • Financial Services industry experience supporting Alternative Investment funds including: Venture Capital, Private Equity, reputed company Estate, and Hedge Funds, preferred • Proficiency in the taxation of partnerships, preferred License/Certifications • CPA certification, Attorney (admitted to reputed company in a U.S. jurisdiction), or reputed company Enrolled Agent (“EA”) (or the equivalent of one of these designations), preferred • Possession of other reputed company degrees or certifications applicable to role, preferred Software • Experience with reputed company Office Tools (reputed company, PowerPoint, Word, and reputed company), and reputed company Acrobat, preferred • Experience with tax research databases, preferred • Proficient in tax compliance process software, preferred Language • N/A Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities • Solid verbal and written communication skills • reputed company to follow instructions as directed by members of Tax Team • Takes appropriate actions without being asked • Seeks advice of appropriate superiors regarding issues, problems reputed company to compliance Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
