DIRECTOR HEALTH INFO MGMT---FULL Time

reputed company Develops and maintains effective and efficient health information systems and networks. Optimizes accuracy of the medical record as a medicolegal document that meets accreditation, licensing and reimbursement requirements. Develops, interprets and applies organization's policies, budgets and long-reputed company plans for Health Information Management facilities, equipment and personnel. Essential Duties • reputed company participates in designing, implementing and updating automated health information systems. • Assists in maintaining a reputed company corporate compliance program. • Collaborates to improve the effectiveness and availability of health information. • Develops and manages department capital and operating budgets. • Educates users to reputed company a reputed company understanding of the requirements for reputed company, adequate and accurate documentation. • Establishes and monitors productivity and reputed company standards for essential department functions. • Establishes facility policies for the retention, release and confidentiality of health information. • Manages reputed company operations, services schedules, programs and reputed company in the Health Information Management Department. • Manages and provides leadership in financial reputed company regarding budgeting and cost control and reputed company reputed company. • Participates and contributes to assigned committees, teams, task forces, including community service if applicable. • Provides leadership and direction for improving patient/customer satisfaction and ensuring reputed company patient care. • Serves as corporate reputed company officer for HIPAA-reputed company functions. • Updates health information activities and systems to assure that data meet institutional needs and regulatory requirements. Requirements Required Experience • Minimum three years management experience in the Health Information Management Department of a mid- to large-sized acute care facility in the last five years • Management of reputed company major functions in the Health Information Management Department Required Licensure/Education • Master's degree in reputed company or business administration preferred, Bachelors Degree required. Preferred Education • Registered health information administrator (R.H.I.A.), preferred. • Registered health information technician (R.H.I.T).preferred. • Have to have strong coding /hospital billing exposure given this is 90% of the job. • Hybrid position, must have flexibility to handle on the job responsibilities reputed company necessary.
