Job Overview Join our esteemed organization as the Director of Nursing / Nurse Manager in a remote capacity. Key Responsibilities • Strategically plan, coordinate, and supervise healthcare services and training programs to achieve optimal outcomes, while working in tandem with the Operations management team. • Guide and mentor clinical staff to foster professional growth and monitor performance effectively. • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks to elevate the quality of care delivered. • Engage in Interdisciplinary team meetings to contribute to comprehensive patient care plans. • Ensure adherence to company policies, state regulations, and compliance with Medicaid and Medicare standards. • Lead case conferences and client-related discussions to assess care plans and patient progress. • Chair various committees, including those focused on safety, infection control, and human rights, to uphold best practices. • Serve as a vital link between nursing and care staff, families, guardians, and community medical providers to promote seamless communication. • Oversee initial assessments and home visits for new healthcare contracts to ensure a smooth onboarding process. • Supervise the implementation and evaluation of care plans, analyzing outcomes, medical records, and physician orders. • Advocate for and promote services within your designated area to expand our reach and enhance our impact. • Perform additional duties as required to support the team and ensure the provision of quality care. Required Skills • Strong communication capabilities with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. • Proficient knowledge of local, state, and federal funding sources and their respective regulations. • Capacity to mentor and supervise clinical staff effectively. • Willingness to travel within the assigned area as needed. • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license from an accredited nursing program. Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Social Services, or a related healthcare field. • Demonstrated experience in healthcare management across diverse age groups.
